to the website of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, a congregation of the TX-LA
Gulf Coast Synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
Having been devastated by five feet of water as a result of the levees
breaking during Hurricane Katrina, Grace is moving from a reconstruction mode to
a rebuilding mode. As you explore our website, you will see that we are
beginning the process of rebuilding our existing ministries and new ministries
geared toward helping families in
 the
New Orleans area rebuild their homes and lives. If you are visiting in or
new to New Orleans, we welcome you to worship with us on Sundays at 10:00 AM.
During the school year, Sunday School, Youth Group, and Adult Forum are at 8:45
AM. We are located at 5800 Canal Boulevard, right off I-610, in New
Orleans, LA.
  This website is a "work in
progress" so we encourage you to visit regularly for our latest updates.
