News... Grace Welcomes Our New Coordinator for Community Development! (NEW) Caitlin Moen, from St. Paul, MN, joined our staff on January 6th to work with Pastor Leon and our Saving Grace Ministry. She'll manage our volunteer ministry; work with community agencies and other ELCA congregations in the area of rebuilding social programs that were destroyed as a result of Katrina; and help rebuild our Youth and Young Adult Ministry at Grace. (NEW) Grace has partnered with the Abram Himelstein and the Neighborhood Story Project (www.neighborhoodstoryproject.org) to write our own post-Katrina story of coming back and the grace of God that we have experienced through the body of Christ--that's you!. We are going to publish our stories in a book that is tentatively entitled, "The Essence of Grace." We hope to have the book ready for distribution by the 3rd Anniversary of Katrina, August 29, 2008. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting development. Transportation Available for Visitors...
